23 tickets each land £24k share of the Scoop6 Tote fund on December 1st2nd December 2012 / lee
It was a big winning weekend on the Scoop6 Tote for 23 lucky punters as their horse racing wagers came up trumps. With Saturday, December 1st’s Scoop6 Win Fund standing at a massive £565,493 (with £378,562 carried over from the previous week) there were 23 correct selections on Saturday, each winning a very nice sum of £24,586.60 for their efforts. The Scoop6 Place Fund Total was at £106,817 with 3773 correct selections sharing the winnings.
It was a fascinating day with 908 tickets still in play at the halfway stage of the day’s selected six races. That was whittled down to 311 after the fourth race of the day, which was then cut down to 84 as Bobs Worth took the honours as expected in the big race of the day, the 3:10 Hennessy Gold Cup at Newbury. Bobs Worth took the line first, trailed by Tidal bay and First Lieutenant. With the final race of the Scoop6, the 3:40 at Newbury seeing Ulck Du Lin take the win, it left 23 golden tickets to share the big pool.
Each of the 23 tickets will now move forward to next weekend’s Scoop6 Bonus which is sitting at over £700,000 (£647k being carried over from last week). Had a single winner landed the Scoop6 on Saturday and followed it up with the Bonus next weekend, they would have been over £1 million the richer. Still, if any of the lucky 23 hit the bonus that is still around next weekend, that’ll be three quarters of a million in profit for the week.
