Boylesports offering bonuses for winning connections of Boylesports.com Hurdle and Cheltenham 201318th January 2013 / lee
The 2013 Boylesports.com Hurdle is coming up on January 26th and online betting site Boylesports is offering some big financial bonuses for winning connections. If the winner of the Boylesports.com Hurdle at Leapordstown goes on to win any race at the 2013 Cheltenham Festival (charity race excluded) then the popular bookmaker will pay out winning connections a hefty bonus of €100,000. Also in great support, if the winner of the Boylesports.com Bet On Your Mobile Novice Steeplechase lands any one of the Arkle, Jewson Novices’ Chase or RSA Chase at Cheltenham, then a winning connection there would receive a €50,000 bonus.
For the big race, which still has a list of 48 entrants at the time of writing, Inis Meain has been an early ante post favourite for the Hurdle, trading at around 5/1. Inis Meain is seen as one of the fastest improving chasers after a solid last season, and with carrying just a weight of 10st 3lb, should go well. But there has been a flurry of interest on King of Queens at around 8/1 with online betting site Boylesports. The Tom Mullins trained charge (11st 5lbs) has rattled off back to back impressive wins in the build up to the Boylesports.com Hurdle at Leapordstown.
With two wins at Naas this season, Worldor could well be another challenger. Trained by Martin Brassil and at 10st 4lb, he should make for an interesting contender. Last year’s winner Citizenship should not be hampered by the (10st 9lbs) for the race and could well become the first home since Redundant Pal over two decades ago to win the Hurdle back to back. Leah Claire, running at four pounds lighter than Citizenship is expected to go well against after taking second spot last season.
Heading the Boylesports.com Hurdle hopefuls though will be Grade I winner Hisaabaat and Rattan, both going off as the joint top-weights.
Leon Blanche, Head of Communications at Boylesports, commented “We are set for a fantastic day of racing at Leopardstown on 26 January. We are delighted to be sponsoring the feature races once again, and delighted also with the magnificent entry for the Boylesports.com Hurdle.”
He continued: “To make things even better for punters, we are again leading the industry in offering ‘Non-Runner, Money Back’ on the Boylesports.com Hurdle. Therefore, if you have a bet in the race from 9:30am on 15 January and your horse does not then line up in the Boylesports.com Hurdle, you will get your money back at Boylesports.”
