FA Cup Third Round Full Draw & Betting Odds 2019/204th December 2019 / lee
The big tie to come out of the FA Cup Third Round draw is a Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton. That is the fixture which will take centre stage early next year when the Third Round takes place. The ties for the Third Round are set to be played from January 3rd – 6th.
Current title holders Manchester City have received a favourable draw with a home tie against Port Vale from League Two. The Citizens are 10/3 outright favourites to lift the Cup once again this season* (betting odds taken from bet365 on December 2nd, 2019 at 7:45 pm).
It is a much tougher tie that their rivals Manchester United get as they will be squaring up against fellow Premier League opponents Wolves. The high-flying Leicester, who probably pique interest for punters at 16/1 to win the Cup this season, get a home tie against 2013 Champions Wigan* (betting odds taken from bet365 on December 2nd, 2019 at 7:45 pm).
AFC Fylde from the National League have a great tie ahead of them as they make the trip to Bramall Lane to take on Premier League side Sheffield United. Another non-league side Boston, who have to go through a second-round replay against Rochdale, could also face Premier League opposition in the form of Newcastle.
Frank Lampard’s Chelsea will get a home fixture against Nottingham Forest while Tottenham will head out on the road to face Championship opponents in the form of Middlesbrough. There should be a cracker set at the Emirates with Arsenal playing host to Championship promotion-candidates Leeds.
FA Cup Outright Winner Odds:
Manchester City 10/3
