Irish punter wins from bold €50 acca stake24th May 2019 / lee
Wednesday night’s racing this week returned a nice bit of profit from a bold bet by an Irish punter. A €50 four-fold accumulator on the horses was played for the evening’s action, all winners picked to win outright in their respective races.
First up on the list was Capofaro at Kempton at 3/1 odds, who set the ball rolling in the bet. Following that was a quick-fire double from the action at Cork. It was Highland Dress who got the win at 5/2 for the second leg of the bet, following by Balefire delivering at 11/4.
The final leg of the accumulator returned to Kempton, where the wager had started. The horse backed was Coverham and he duly obliged for the punter from a price of 5/2, competing the accumulator with BoyleSports.
The punter, from a pretty hefty chunk of stake, collected a sum of €9,187.50.
A Spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “Hats off to our Cork customer who made little work of some nicely prize winners to take us for €9,187.50. They were clearly dreaming big and we wish our customer the best of luck with their winnings”.
