Thirty five winners share the Scoop6 Win Fund on the weekend12th February 2013 / lee
There was a big winning weekend on the Scoop6 horse racing over the weekend, with a large 35 tickets all weighing in for a piece of the Win Fund pie. Each lucking winning punter took a prize of £6,071.50 with them from the fund, which stood at £212,504 after £138,864 was carried over from last week’s untouched fund. So a big, big weekend on the Scoop6 and it just goes to highlight the value of it again.
After the 1.30 at Warwick on Saturday, the first race of the six, there were over 59,000 tickets left in as favourite number six Ma Filleule crossed the line first and gave a lot of expectation for a good day ahead.
Things got a little bit upset in the second race of the day however, the 1:50 at Newbury though, when favorite Sivola De Sivola, who was quite heavily backed, failed to place. Master of the Sea took the win for Nigel Twiston-Davies and that left just over 10,000 tickets in the running for the Scoop6 Win Fund, which wasn’t bad at all. That was trimmed down to 2,704 tickets after Race 3, in which another favourite, Molotof, delivered for the day. With Wishfull Thinking taking race four of the six at Newbury, 123 tickets were left standing as Dream Again Boys won race five, the 3:15 at Warwick.
The final race on Saturday’s Scoop6 was the 3:35 at Newbury, where favourite My Tent Or Yours was backed by 35 of the remaining 123 tickets. Those were the lucky 35 winners at the end of the race as My Tent Or Yours took the race from Cotton Mill. With such a high number of winners on the Scoop6 Win Fund, naturally there was a hefty sharing of the Place Fund as well. There were 2,730 winners on the Place Fund on Saturday, all taking away £315.476 with them.
The Bonus Fund stands intact, and was at £315,476 on the weekend, but with 35 tickets going forward to next week with a shot at the Bonus, someone could end up very rich! The next Scoop6 runs on February 16th.
